Energy and the human factor
We tend to assume that decisions in the energy sector are essentially objective. Technical. Based on numbers.
If only it were so!
An emblematic example, close to our lives, is what happens in condominium buildings where water consumption is measured in m³ and then divided equally among the apartments.
What happens is that an apartment is not interested in being thrifty in its consumption. It is different if each one has its own measurement. It is the human factor! Likewise, saving energy in a company or institution is often seen as something abstract.
What I like to do, and which gives effective results, is to separate each production department, measure its consumption and set consumption reduction goals. And also, reward result$ achieved and maintained! If you would like to try this strategy, do not hesitate to contact me!
