One of the important changes that has occurred in recent times in Brazil has been the profile of the demand curve of the national integrated system.
Historically, peak power occurred in the late afternoon, early evening. Now it also occurs in the middle of the afternoon!

What I propose for the regulators’ consideration is the improvement of the definitions of peak and off-peak power so that charges are consistent with what happens in the real world!
This improvement is more than necessary to avoid erroneous charges, disconnected from reality (as is the current case).
Or will inertia (doing nothing for the time being) be the path adopted (once again)? For those who wish to delve deeper into this important topic, I am available to create definitions that faithfully represent the costs incurred.
