Energy: Does your company have a strategy?
From my experience providing consultancy in the energy sector, the vast majority of companies and institutions do not have a strategic energy plan.
I am not talking about something complex, detailed and involving many pages. I am talking about a plan that can even be included on a single page of Word, for example.
This plan should include everything from the contracting of energy sources to run operations to ways of efficiently using the contracted energy. And with a bias towards mitigating perceived risks of prices and availability.
The good news: it makes sense to create this plan and capture the associated advantages. It will be worth trying! Definitely!
