Texas Energy Savings Day takes place on September 7, established in 2021 to help Texans who pay high rates on their power and don’t know how to take advantage of fixed plans for renewable energy, energy savings programs, and the like.
While the need for focus on energy savings has been critical to reduce strain on the grid in Texas that has been in the spotlight for both Winter Storm events and excessive heat waves in the summer, the same story rings true across the country.
So what are your utilities doing to help customers reduce their energy burden, identify savings opportunities, and dive into programs/technologies meant to save energy across the grid?
