Las Vegas man accused of killing parents said he ‘couldn’t take it anymore,’ police say
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 27-year-old man accused of killing his parents with a baseball bat in the east Las Vegas valley told 911 he “couldn’t take it anymore,” according to documents 8 News Now obtained Tuesday.
On Saturday, Dec 27, at around 11:30 p.m., LVMPD dispatchers received a call from Adrian Bailey, 27, who said he needed to be “taken in for murder,” according to an arrest report.

Bailey told the 911 dispatcher he “couldn’t take it anymore,” and he “killed them,” adding that “there was blood everywhere and that he did not mean to,” the report said.
As officers were responding to the initial call location, a residence in the 6400 block of New Brunswick Avenue near East Washington Avenue, Bailey called 911 again, this time from the area of East Stewart Avenue and North Fogg Street.
In the second call, Bailey said, “officers need to kill him on sight” because he was a danger to himself and others, adding, “I have done it,” the report said. When a dispatcher asked if Bailey had shot himself, he said “he hadn’t killed himself yet, but had ‘done some others.’”
Bailey added that he had left his residence without his glasses and had been drinking alcohol, but had not used any drugs. The report said Bailey was “hysterical” and yelling, asking for police to “kill him on sight.” He told dispatch he killed his dad, saying “he did not mean to, but he had enough abuse.”

Around 11:45 p.m., officers arrived at the second location and took Bailey into custody. He had blood on his skin and clothes, the report said. During an interview with the officers, Bailey requested an attorney, and the interview was terminated.
Officers at the initial location found two people in the home’s living room with “life-threatening injuries,” according to the report. The man, who police identified as Roger Bailey, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, Kristine Bailey, was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died. The victims are Adrian Bailey’s parents.
Police found a child-sized baseball bat covered in blood at the top of the stairs, the report stated. Blood spatter at the scene showed that one of the victims was hit with the bat while on the stairs, and both victims were hit in the living room.
Bailey was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon, court records show. He appeared in court on Monday, where a judge declined to set bail. Bailey was scheduled to appear in court again on Wednesday.
