“Three fatal crashes in under 24 hours. This is not normal. One of these collisions claimed two lives. Three lives gone in a single day. Three families shattered. And all of it preventable. Avoid the area of west Cheyenne Avenue and north Jones Boulevard. Our roads are wet. Conditions are dangerous. Drivers are still going too fast, too distracted, and too careless for what the roadway demands. We cannot, and will not allow this level of tragedy to become our new normal in Las Vegas.”
The intersection is closed in all directions as a result of the crash. Drivers should avoid the area.
The crash remains under investigation.
