LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police released photos Saturday of a man who carried out an armed casino robbery late Thursday night.
As 8 News Now reported Thursday, police received a call around 10:30 p.m. that day reporting a robbery at the Rampart Casino in the 200 block of Rampart Boulevard. The casino is located on Rampart near the Summerlin Parkway.

Patrol units arrived and immediately secured the area before robbery detectives took over the investigation, officers said.

The man walked onto the property and entered through the casino’s parking garage, officers said. He was dressed in a ballistic helmet, blue sunglasses, a black facemask, and a blue-and-yellow security-style jacket, giving the appearance of a security worker.
Once inside, the man approached the cashier’s cage, pulled out an AR-style rifle, and demanded money, police said. The cashier complied, and the man left.
No injuries were reported.
