MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The City of Dyersburg has issued a boil water notice due to a water main line break on Tuesday.
The City of Dyersburg said the break has resulted in a significant loss of pressure in the drinking water system.
They said the boil notice is for the area south of I-155, West of Pioneer Road, East of Highway 51 Bypass, and North of Parkview Street.

The city said to let water boil for three minutes, cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice.

They said they are actively repairing the line break. Once the system pressure is restored and bacteriological tests are conducted, they will lift the boil water notice.
The city said it expects to resolve the issue within the next two days.
