LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas city officials are looking for a good fit for property in Symphony Park, putting out a request for proposals on Wednesday to find the right project.
The 3.44-acre site is along the north side of Bonneville Avenue, just east of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. An impressive list of neighbors includes the Smith Center, the World Market Center Las Vegas, Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, the Discovery Children’s Museum and the Clark County Government Center.
The map below shows the location, parcels J and K.
“This Request for Proposals is an opportunity for a developer to be a part of this exciting and growing part of Las Vegas,” a news release announcing the RFP process said.

A city parking garage is nearby, and there’s even a walkway over the railroad tracks if you want to stroll over to City Hall.
Years of careful development decisions have transformed the former Union Pacific railyard into the jewel of downtown.
“Symphony Park is located on 61 acres in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. Symphony Park is the city of Las Vegas’ premier development that is home to arts, culture, science and medicine. It offers one of the city’s most exciting and prime opportunities for retail, restaurant or mixed-use development,” the city’s news release said.
