The popular Shady Maple Smorgasbord, located at 129 Toddy Drive in Lancaster County, just announced on Facebook that it is currently closed.

According to Shady Maple Smorgasbord, the popular buffet and restaurant had to temporarily shut down due to a water main break.

“We are currently closed due to a water main break,” Shady Maple Smorgasbord shared on Facebook. “Please stay tuned for further updates. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Shady Maple later shared that they plan to reopen their doors tomorrow on Wednesday, April 22 at 7 a.m.
“We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue,” Shady Maple stated on Facebook.
According to Shady Maple Smorgasbord’s website, they have been around since the early 1960s, but opened as an all-you-can-eat buffet in 1985. They are now known as the largest buffet in the country.
