Energy, the Environment, the Economy and You is a series of blog style YouTube videos starting with this introduction.
The writer is the inventor of Thermodynamic Geoengineering and has been a longtime contributor to The Energy Collective Group that brings together the best thinkers on energy and climate. He is invited almost weekly to attend one energy or environmental conference as a guest speaker or contributor and to submit papers to various of academic journals, but he is not an academic and is self-funded. Therefore, these kinds of endeavors are beyond his fiscal capacity. Plus, he is handicapped by aphasia as a result of a stroke which precludes his speaking at conferences so videos like this one are narrated with the aid of AI.
He has been published in the Journal Thermal Science and Engineering with the papers, Global Warming, a Global Energy Resource and A 7th Law of Thermodynamics and Its Climate Implications, coauthored a paper Negative-CO2-emissions ocean thermal energy conversion in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews and contributed a chapter “The Lessons of Nature and Heat Pipe OTEC” to the book OTEC Matters 2015. But experience has shown the most impactful work he has done is with articles submitted to The Energy Collective. Accordingly, it is hoped this video and the ones to follow in this series will be viewed and read by the best thinkers on energy and climate with the view to converting thinking into actions in these fields.
Warmest regards, Jim Baird
