Sin City Goes Solar

I doubt the first thought that pops into people’s minds when Las Vegas is mentioned is sustainability. In fact, it’s probably not even on the list of possible associations. Except it should be.

Yes, the city reported by National Geographic as “the brightest city on Earth,” and which is visible from space, is also on the forefront of sustainability.  Despite not necessarily being intuitive, it makes perfect sense.  When one is located in a remote desert with limited access to water, to maintain quality of life while experiencing rapid population growth, one needs to think seriously about sustainability.
