Rocky Mountain Institute: “The Cleantech Revolution.” I cannot recommend this article highly enough—for the second day in a row. We are at a juxtaposition where solar + hydropower are near equals in terms of capacity for direct generation. And ‘pumped hydro’ storage of energy for generation of electricity is still the most common form of storage in the US + worldwide. But clearly the landscape is changing + it looks like electrochemical battery storage will surpass pumped storage during this decade. Exciting times, charged with excitement.
