Brazilian electric energy sector: aimless!
Leading countries in both GDP per capita and energy have one thing in common: they know what they want, they have a plan drawn up and they use metrics to evaluate results.
Brazil, as a country that is not developed, suffers from a chronic problem.
Systemically despises planning and objectivity. Of course, the background is always indolence, the preference for honouring official projects of “friends” and ostensibly not implementing actions that are very successful around the world in order to reach and maintain a different level.
Being at the forefront requires strategy, leadership and the will to make it happen. These are characteristics that are always missing in the country’s electrical sector. When will we become aware of the need to change our outlook?
