Energy: provisional and without deadline!
In the Brazilian electricity sector, all the challenges posed have been there for a long time.
Energy theft, lack of an active demand response program, duck curve, dubious generation plants (to serve the interests of “friends”, especially in the Amazonia region) and a list of subsidies that are paid by those who do not have the associated benefits , are a historical part of the Brazilian “system”.
For an optimist it would only be a matter of time before this “temporary” situation results in a generalized gain.
To a pessimist, these “challenges” are part of the corruption that pervades the Brazilian energy businesses.
For a “neutral”, the situation is temporary but without a deadline to change!
In which of the 3 alternatives (optimistic, pessimistic or neutral) would you bet your chips?
