The free energy market has provided very interesting results for suppliers and demanders.

But, from time to time, conflicts arise between sellers and buyers of energy. It’s part of the business!

The classic, best-known form is to file a lawsuit. Next, the way that has been gaining attention is the Arbitration Chambers.

Justice is a horrible “animal” in Brazil, in terms of the expected duration of the conflict. We are talking about many years.

Arbitration is better because typically in a few years the conflict is resolved.

I wish to draw attention to Mediation. It is an opportunity that precedes the activation of Justice or Arbitration and concerns the search for dialogue to resolve the conflict through a Mediator.

It is a more informal, faster, less conflicting and much more economical solution than Justice and Arbitration.

And exactly for these reasons can be used for even “small” conflicts.
