The industry is buzzing about private LTE to enable a cleaner, more reliable and resilient grid. But what does that mean, really? What could a private LTE network do for your utility–and specifically, what are the applications and use cases that are driving leading utilities to adopt and deploy private LTE?
From wildfire mitigation and grid visibility to mutual aid and integration of distributed energy resources (DERs), the universe of private LTE-enabled use cases is almost limitless. That new frontier of innovation and opportunity is fueling a wide and growing ecosystem of products, services, devices, and applications directly focused on addressing utility operational pain points and improving the customer experience.
This special edition includes first-hand accounts from leading utilities of the applications private LTE is enabling for them, as well as the use cases those applications address. It also provides a number of application spotlights from the technology companies driving the private LTE ecosystem.
