Hundreds of Connecticut residents were without power on Easter Sunday as the state was hit with sporadic rain, but it was restored soon after, according to Eversource.
Eversource’s outage map showed there were 702 customers without power in Connecticut as of 4:30 p.m. Most of the outages were in Danbury and New Fairfield, which reported 402 and 299, respectively, according to Eversource.
About a half hour earlier, there were hundreds more outages reported in New Fairfield. Eversource did not list the cause of the outages.

By 5 p.m., Eversource reported only seven outages across the state.
United Illuminating, the utility company that covers portions of New Haven and Fairfield counties, reported no outages as of 5 p.m.
