An argument at a Costco gas station exploded into violence, with the alleged victim fighting back with an ax.
Valeria Andrea Aguilar was arrested for felony burglary with assault or battery after an altercation that began at the Costco gas pump in Miami, according to court documents reviewed by Oxygen.com. The 29-year-old has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
On March 25, Aguilar started screaming at a Costco gas station attendant, according to an arrest affidavit. When a woman, who was also pumping gas, drove by and intervened—telling the attendant to revoke Aguilar’s membership to the wholesale chain—Aguilar ran after her car.

While Aguilar told police in the affidavit that she ran after the victim and approached her first, she denied intentionally striking her.
Aguilar appeared in court on March 26, where a judge denied bond, according to a recorded hearing published by NBC 6. If Aguilar is released, said the judge, she must stay away from her alleged victim—and Costco.
It is unclear from legal records when Aguilar will next appear in court. An attorney for Aguilar declined to comment when asked by Oxygen.com.
