LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — This Sunday afternoon, the winds have calmed down significantly over the Las Vegas valley.
Other than that, it has been quite pleasant today with nice sunshine and mostly clear skies. Today we will warm up by a few degrees compared to yesterday, and that seems to be the trend this week, as we expect significant weather changes as we continue to heat up.

By mid-week, a ridge of high pressure will stretch over the Desert Southwest and temperatures will soar from the upper 70’s to the 80’s. By the weekend, we will see our afternoon highs peak, with a few days in the upper 80’s, pushing into the 90’s too.
We will keep an eye out if we tie or break any daily records.
