KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Three cities in the Kansas City area are under a boil water advisory on Sunday.
Buckner, Levasy and Sibley are all currently under boil advisories, the City of Buckner says.

Water samples are being taken to the City of Independence lab on Monday morning. Those test results typically take 12 to 24 hours to get back, according to the city.

Once tests show that the water is negative for coliform, the advisory will be lifted.
Water customers should boil their water for three minutes for drinking and cooking and discontinue icemaker use until further notice.
