LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man has filed a lawsuit against Clark County and the families of seven juveniles after he said they “violently” attacked him at a Las Vegas park.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Adrian Villegas-Solorio on Friday, Jan. 16. It seeks an award of damages in excess of $15,000 for personal injuries suffered during the alleged attack.

The lawsuit alleges that Villegas-Solorio was at Mountains Edge Regional Park on Jan. 18, 2024, at around 4 p.m., riding his scooter. When he sat down on a bench to take a break, he was approached and “violently attacked, without provocation, by a group of seven unknown juveniles.”
The exact ages of the juveniles were not listed in the lawsuit.
Because of the attack, Villegas-Solorio suffered internal and external injuries, including injuries to his jaw that required surgery and “extreme pain and anguish.” The suit alleged that all or some of the injuries may be “permanent and disabling in nature.”
The lawsuit said that he suffered expenses for medical care and treatment because of these injuries.

The lawsuit also alleges that Clark County “knew or was aware, or should have known or been aware” of multiple prior violent incidents and attacks at the park and failed to maintain the park “in a reasonably safe condition.” The suit did not name any specific incidents.
The document claims that the parents of each of the assailants are liable, respectively, for up to a maximum of $10,000 in civil damages. The suit calls for compensatory damages in excess of $15,000, exemplary damages, and attorney’s fees.
