It’s ISSMA state finals week for Indiana marching bands. See who’s at Lucas Oil this weekend

The Indiana State School Music Association‘s fall marching band season comes to a close this week, with several performers from around the state heading to Indianapolis.

Here’s a look at who’ll take the field and when.

When and where is ISSMA State Finals in 2025?

State Finals is Saturday, Nov. 8, with the first performance — two exhibition shows — beginning at 9:25 a.m. Gates open at 9 a.m. See the full schedule below.

How much are ISSMA State Finals tickets?

Admission is $25 for adults and $20 for children and students, excluding extra fees. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and at the Lucas Oil Stadium box office in person both in advance and the day of the event. On Saturday, Nov. 8, the ticket office opens at 7:45 a.m. ET.

ISSMA Scholastic Class bands performing in exhibition

Also on Saturday night, two marching bands will perform exhibition shows before the competition begins. Wawasee High School of Syracuse will take the field at 9:25 a.m., and Zionsville Community High School will perform at 9:40 a.m.

Roads closed Saturday due to Indianapolis Monumental Marathon

ISSMA fans should take note of the Monumental Marathon happening downtown on Saturday, Nov. 8. According to ISSMA contest information, many streets east and north of the stadium will remain closed until the late afternoon. McCarty Street on the south side of Lucas Oil Stadium also is closed closed from 7:45-9 a.m. to reroute traffic for construction.
