LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A deadly crash caused lane closures on a Las Vegas interstate Friday afternoon.
According to Nevada State Police, the crash happened on the southbound lanes of I-11 just north of Casino Center.
Police said the crash occurred at around 11:15 a.m. and involved an SUV and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.

As of 12:30 p.m., all lanes except the rightmost lane on southbound I-11 were closed just north of Casino Center. I-15 south to I-11, MLK to I-11 south, and I-15 north to I-11 will be closed for an undetermined time, police said.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
