LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A large column of smoke in the east Las Vegas valley is due to a fire at the Clark County Wetlands Park.
The fire was first seen at 8:50 a.m. The park is located near Tropicana Avenue/Broadbent Boulevard east of Boulder Highway. Clark County fire crews are responding to the scene.
The nearly 3,000-acre park has a 210-acre nature preserve with trailheads, trees and waterways. The park has been the site of several fires over the years.
