LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — North Las Vegas police arrested a man accused of shooting and killing a man inside a vehicle on the I-15.
On Sunday, around 7:16 a.m., Nevada State Police requested assistance from North Las Vegas Police after a report of a homicide on southbound I-15, north of Cheyenne Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man inside of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
NLVPD said the suspect, 28-year-old Joseph De Luna, and the victim were inside the vehicle when the shooting happened and then De Luna called 911, police said.

De Luna remained at the scene and was later arrested and booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center, according to police. De Luna faces a charge of open murder with a deadly weapon, police said.
