KILDARE, Okla. (KFOR) – Folks in Kay County are breathing a sigh of relief after a wind turbine collapsed.
According to the Kildare Sheriff’s Office, deputies were alerted around 7:22 a.m. of the turbine falling on Prentice Road northeast of town. Residents confirm, the wind turbine tumble could be felt and heard as far as 2 miles from the scene.

Kildare Fire Department and Kay County authorities responded to the scene and report no injuries at this time.
The wind company is handling the cleanup.
