LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A resident of a home in the central Las Vegas valley found a body in one of his bedrooms following a house party the night before, according to police.
On Sunday around 3:50 p.m., LVMPS dispatch received a 911 call from a man who said he found a body in one of the bedrooms in his home in the 2100 block of Naco Court near Rancho Drive and Oakey Boulevard.
When officers arrived they found a woman, believed to be in her 20s, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

According to police, one of the people who lived in the home threw a party late Saturday night. Around 3 a.m. Sunday, people started to leave the party and the residents of the home went to sleep.
Sunday afternoon the residents woke up, went into one of the bedrooms and found the body. Police this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
Police said the residents of the home did not know the victim.
