Data centers and renewable sources
One of the largest loads to be installed in Brazil will be – potentially – data centers.
And a major challenge arises at a time when renewable sources are being prioritised.
Data centers operate 24×7 at full load! Renewable sources have their fluctuations, which are intrinsic to them, of course!
And so we are faced with a “challenge”: how to resolve this situation? Will we take the initiative to put this issue on the agenda to discover alternatives and then make a good decision, or simply, as tradition dictates, “let it roll” and this cost will be unceremoniously passed on to all consumers?
