LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist is dead after they were hit by several vehicles in the southwest Las Vegas valley.
On Monday evening, Metro police responded to a report of a crash in the area of Blue Diamond Road and South Hualapai Way.
Police said two motorcyclists were hit by several vehicles and were traveling eastbound on Blue Diamond Road near Hualapai when one of the riders collided with the rear of a vehicle that was also traveling eastbound. The motorcyclist who collided with the vehicle died from their injuries.

The condition of the other motorcyclist is unknown at this time.
Blue Diamond Road is closed in both directions from South Hualapai Way to SR-159, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
