Lhyfe has announced a collaboration with Atmen to enhance carbon footprint traceability and transparency within the hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX) sectors by implementing comprehensive tracking and verification measures for every stage of hydrogen product
Each delivery of Lhyfe’s green and renewable hydrogen can now include a Digital Product Passport, providing buyers with detailed information about the hydrogen’s origin, carbon footprint, and soon, the ‘RFNBO-compliant’ label. This integration ensures full traceability of hydrogen production, from renewable energy sourcing to final delivery, meeting and exceeding current European regulatory requirements.
The collaboration will initially be implemented at Lhyfe’s production unit in Bouin (Vendée, France) and will later expand to other Lhyfe sites. The company has also initiated steps to obtain RFNBO certification for hydrogen produced at its various sites. Once achieved, the Digital Product Passports will include the ‘RFNBO-compliant’ label, confirming compliance with the European Union’s stringent sustainability criteria.
