Scenarios (energy) for 2025 – what is your choice?
My experience with industrial, commercial and institutional clients shows that – by far – the preference is to “wait” until the situation is defined before making a decision (or not).
This is a very well-accepted stance in our “Brazilian field”. And it has even become a tradition. It undoubtedly reflects a preference for the “comfort zone”. But I have also observed that this logic misses many valuable opportunities. And the worst part is that they even go unnoticed. Energy contracting and even structured energy related services (based on results) can have a very special outcome if the scenarios are evaluated very carefully.
1. What are the future price scenarios for electricity and other sources?
2. What solutions can offer interesting results?
3. What alternatives are possible for contracting these solutions?
4. What are the most important variables to be considered?
5. Who can and should decide on the alternatives?
Those who have the initiative, detachment, courage and willingness to study the subject can achieve very special results. I say this because of the many cases in which I have motivated upper managers and even board members to “think outside the box”. The results have been spectacular.
