While providing consultancy services to companies with electricity bills among the highest on their list of costs,
I suggested a course of action that worked really well!
When the “spot” (PLD as it is designated here in Brazil) is at its highest (as it is currently), I suggest evaluating the reduction of production activities to sell the energy not consumed (from the contracted volume) and thus achieve spectacular results.
When I showed this alternative to a manufacturing company, the VPs loved it!
