Utilities today live in a data-rich world yet are often starved for solutions that successfully leverage this data to solve their critical problems. New data sources such as grid sensor data, smart meter interval data, field and inspection data, improved customer data, and other third-party data sources like weather and demographics are all rich in potential, yet have their own challenges: Can we train trusted models for predictive use cases? Will the data enable greater visibility into emerging areas of operations as DERs scale? Is our organization ready for all of this, and if not, what needs to change?
In this session, we will explore these challenges at a strategic level and then dive into mini-roundtable discussions on topics that are critical for a utility to survive and thrive in the rapidly evolving energy environment. In this format, we will tap into the knowledge bases of both a panel of subject matter experts as well as insights and shared experiences from the audience.
