As the host city for the U2030 Future-Think-a-Thon, June 4-5, 2024, at Oracle’s Innovation Lab, Deerfield has developed a comprehensive plan to achieve a 45% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, with complete elimination by 2040. During the event, Mayor Daniel Shapiro and Andrew Lichterman, the village’s Assistant Village Manager and Director of Community Development, will discuss this ambitious plan during their session titled “Mayor’s Welcome & Engaging Residents in The Village of Deerfield’s Carbon Reduction Plan.”
