Follow Deep Hot Dry Rock Geothermal (DHDRG) energy for relief from Grid transmission, storage, regulation, policy.

Please follow tech and econ progress toward profitable access to DHDRG energy, which is benign, inexhaustible, firm and baseload, provides free storage (leave heat in the deep Earth until needed), and is generally ubiquitous on Earth. Advanced Geothermal Systems (AGS) may soon be able to bore deep enough, cheap enough, to provide “geothermal anywhere”,  thus electricity plus hydrogen fuel plus hot water for district heating and cooling systems (DHCS) “anywhere”.  We would need no new electricity transmission lines or battery farms. Energy production is at or near points-of-use.  Only distribution infrastructure is needed.  Large, distant, wind and PV plants are obsolete. We’d need to pipeline hydrogen transportation fuel only short distances. De-carbonization of the entire human enterprise is accelerated. Energy utility regulation and pricing is simplified.
