I mentioned a few weeks ago that solar + storage is now on par with fossil fuel. The latest breakthrough has demonstrated we’re only just at the beginning.
There will be even more efficient solar/wind technology and new electro chemicals for long duration energy storage are being tested that will outperform lithium and fossil fuel.
